As the Manager of Product Strategy, you will lead the implementation of Supply Ontario’s product strategy, focusing on building a unified ecosystem of digital products that drive the organization’s objectives.
In this critical role, you will oversee the product function, guiding a team of product professionals to ensure successful delivery. You will also lead the overarching product roadmap, crafting a clear strategy, vision, and prioritized plans that integrate and align multiple digital products.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Building solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand users’ needs, program goals, and the program’s policies and operational constraints.
- Leading the development of digital and product related outcomes, goals and KPIs that align with the overall strategic and business plans.
- Championing user needs and the value of user research and data for informing product development and iterations.
- Setting common approaches, standards and best practices for the product and design functions.
- Maintaining ongoing focus on emerging technology, digital, and other relevant industry trends and best practices.
- Providing digital and product expertise and advice to management and staff in response to operational or program issues.
- Creating a culture of inclusion, psychological safety, dependability, continuous learning, in a fast-paced environment.
- Promoting and supporting the implementation of innovation and continuous improvement throughout the Digital and Data Office.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 6-8 years’ experience overseeing, building, or scaling product teams in complex environments, including establishing product visions and strategies for multiple high-volume products.
- Experience developing product vision and strategy, and leading multi-disciplinary teams to achieve that vision from concept to launch.
- Strong decision making and prioritization skills.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with product and project management methodologies, principles and processes.
- Extensive experience and an understanding of product objectives, goal, and metrics in order to oversee the development and implementation of large-scale projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, cross-functional teams and across business lines.
- Experience working with a complex group of stakeholders to understand and support their users’ needs.
- An understanding of the current digital marketplace, including technology trends, web architecture, and common SAAS technology components.
- Strong commitment to customer service excellence, teamwork and collaboration.
- Responsive to change and the needs of clients, team members and partners.
- Strong communications skills with an ability to communicate with structure and clarity.
- Leadership and change management experience to draw upon in delivering digital products and services in a fast-paced, user-focused environment.

This job offers the opportunity to work from home as part of a hybrid work arrangement; at the time of posting, this position would require in-office presence 3 days per week, based on current operational requirements.
