Events, seminars and webinars help explain the procurement policies and practices of the Ontario government and provide information and tips on:
- procurement policy
- becoming a vendor of record
- marketing your goods and services to the Ontario government
Training is available for both Buyers and Vendors.
For Buyers
The Building Ontario Businesses Initiative (BOBI) is a transformational province-wide program developed by the Ontario government to leverage the role public sector procurement can play in economic development.
BOBI training for ministry and agency buyers is now available by request for groups of ten or more. Buyers will learn how to apply BOBI strategies to procurements and embed local economic benefit considerations into the procurement process.

For Vendors
Registered vendors can sell goods and services to the Ontario Public Service. Most of these goods and services are sold to the government through contracts. Many of our contracts are also available to municipalities and the broader public sector.
Training on how to do business with the government of Ontario and the step-by-step process of how to submit a bid is available.
